A. First Business System's Privacy Policy

First Business Systems Limited (FBS) is committed to protecting the privacy of your business and employees, while providing you with the opportunity to receive products and services which enhance your e-business activities.

This policy ("Privacy Policy") describes the ways in which we collect information from you when you use the Service, and what we may use it for.

B. What data do we collect from you?

We collect data from you ("User Data") in various ways:

• when you register to use any FBS service;

• during the course of your use of FBS services, and those of third parties available through the Service, and

• when we request further information from you from time to time following on from registration.

Much of this data comprises business information. Some of it may comprise personal data about individuals, to which UK data protection laws apply. This Privacy Policy describes First Business System's approach to fulfilling its obligations under those data protection laws.

C. Our use of User Data?

We will use User Data we collect from you only in accordance with the following guidelines:

1. To provide the FBS service to you
   
   

   We will use User Data to provide and improve our e-business Service to you, to enable our help desk to deal with any queries you have about our Service, to notify you of any changes to our Service or our General User Conditions, and to process payments.

2. To send you information about our other products & services
   
   

   From time to time, First Business Systems Limited, or third parties acting on FBS's behalf, may wish to send you information about other products and services which we offer and we believe you may be interested in and we may use User Data for this purpose. If you decide now, or at any later time, that you do not wish to receive this information, please inform us by e-mail at online@first-business-systems.co.uk.

3. To generate and deal in aggregate data
   
   

   FBS may provide aggregated data about our Users, sales patterns and related usage information, to reputable third parties on a commercial basis, but this data shall be in non-attributable form and will not enable any such third party to identify individual users or individual businesses.

4. To provide data to third party providers
   
   

   FBS may pass User Data to third party providers of products and services through the Service to enable them to provide them to you, and (where relevant) to facilitate billing. FBS does not as such authorise such third parties to use your User Data to market its own products or services, but you may have given such consent as part of your direct relationship with the third party in question.

5. To the other group of companies
   
   

   FBS may make User Data available to other members of the other group, either for the fulfillment of FBS services, or to enable them to provide you with information about products or services which they believe would be of interest to you.

D. Legal Requirements

While it is unlikely, FBS may be required to disclose your User Data by a court order or to comply with other legal requirements. We will use all reasonable endeavours to notify you before we do so, unless we are legally restricted from doing so.

E. No Commercial Disposal to Third Parties

FBS shall not sell, rent, distribute or otherwise make User Data commercially available to any third party, except as described above, or except with your prior permission.

F. Consent to our Use

If you object to the use by FBS of your User Data in the manner described in section C above, please inform us by e-mail at online@first-business-systems.co.uk.

G. Updating User Data FBS holds about you

You can change or update the User Data that FBS holds about you at any time. You can do this by contacting us by email at online@first-business-systems.co.uk.

H. Assent to Terms of Privacy Policy

By using the FBS services you acknowledge that you have read the terms of this Privacy Policy and that you agree to use User Data for the purposes set out above. This Privacy Policy may be amended by FBS at any time. FBS will notify you through the Service of changes.
